Meet Fr. Bob Garon
Fr. Bob Garon grew up in the San Fernando Valley. After years in the entertainment industry doing comedy, announcing & experimenting with New Age, he had a conversion experience that changed him forever.
He is now the associate pastor of St. Charles Borromeo Church in North Hollywood. He was ordained for the Archdiocese of Los Angeles in 2005 and attended St. John’s Seminary. Fr. Bob is a member of the Confraternity of Priests of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, Mary and Joseph, based on the spirituality of Fr. Luke Zimmer, SS.CC. Fr. Bob has been involved in the Charismatic renewal for many years and is active in the healing and teaching ministry, particularly touching on topics such as: deliverance and healing of the family tree and healing of the memories.
Fr. Bob is also the Chaplain of the Saint Charles Social community since 2005.
"When I arrived at St. Charles in July of 2005 I discovered that there were so many terrific people in this parish. The sad part about this is most of the people at St. Charles were unfamiliar with other members of their peers in the parish. They all came to worship and no one really knew another soul. The other sad part about all of these terrific young people in the parish is that they were under the impression that they thought they could never associate with their peer group in the faith because they believed that other practicing young adult Catholics were hard to find, when all they really needed was a means by which they could all be introduced to one another."
"We formed the SCSC in the Fall of 2005 and have been doing very well ever since."
